Comparison Of Leesa And Purple Mattresses

This new mattress comparison will show you how the Leesa mattress and the Purple mattress compare in several areas, includingPrice?Warranty?Comfort?ConstructionAndSleeping experience.

My goal is not to tell which mattress is best but to provide all the information you need to make a decision between the two.

Let’s get started!

Leesa Or Purple? Which Should You Choose?

If you prefer a soft or more firm mattress, Leesa may be the right mattress for you. However, Leesa is slightly warmer than the Purple.

Although the Purple original mattress is more costly, it remains our top choice for back and stomach sleepers. Purple mattress is unlike any other we have tried. It’s not for everyone, but Eric loves it.

The overall rating of the Leesa mattress was 4.6 out of 5.0.

The Leesa Is Available For Purchase If You:

  • You will need either a Twin or Full size (Purple does not offer these yet).
  • You prefer the feeling of memory foam.
  • You would like to save some money.

Mattress Construction

Leesa

The Leesa mattress has a standard foam construction that includesThree layers of foamAdd up toThickness of 25 cm.

Each layer is carefully designed to offer temperature control, back support and contouring as well as durability.

  • LSA200 foamThe top layer of 5 cm uses patented foam, which combines the best characteristics of memory foam and latex. It is more responsive than memory foam and provides better pressure relief than latex. Its breathable structure keeps the mattress cool, dry and comfortable.
  • Memory foamThe second layer, 5 cm in height, is for pressure relief. It wraps around your hips and shoulders to prevent pressure points from forming.

This layer balances out the firmness LSA200 foam. The Leesa mattress is firm enough to support, but soft enough to provide comfort.

  • Support foamThe bottom 15 cm of most mattresses is made up of dense support foam. It serves two purposes: to support the sleeper and to support the mattress.
  • Purple

The top layer of the mattress is purple, which replaces traditional foam with Hyper-Elastic polymer. This mattress is slightly more responsive and contouring than the Leesa.

The normal foam is used for the other two layers, which total three:

    • Polymer with hyper elastic propertiesOriginally used in cushioning products such as chairs, hospital beds and toy balls, Hyper elastic polymer is a grid-like structure with walls that respond to pressure. For contouring, the walls will collapse around your hips and shoulders. However, they will remain upright in low-pressure areas such as your lower back and lower body for support and alignment.
    • Transitional Polyurethane FoamThe 9 cm foam offers compression support to ensure you don’t sink too deep.
    • Foam of Foundational PolyurethaneThe bottom layer of the mattress is made up of 10 cm high-density foam. This layer gives the mattress a firm foundation and provides extra support for heavier people.

Construction-wise, the battle between purple and Leesa is a draw. Purple boasts its own polymer. The mattress’s downside is that it uses polyurethane foam, which is the cheapest and most expensive type of foam.

Leesa on the other side, however, does not have any super-elastic polymer, but it uses high-quality foam for all layers.

    Comfort And Firmness

    Leesa

The Leesa mattress has aMedium-firm mattressThis is the perfect spot for most people. It would be rated at 6/10 on a scale of increasing firmness.

It feels very firm, especially when you lie down on it for the first time. This gives the mattress a firm and supportive surface.

The memory foam layer beneath will become firmer after a few minutes, especially when you lie down on it for the first time.

A soft second layer balances out the firmness of the top layer to create a perfect environment for quality sleep. The mattress is supportive and comfortable, regardless of whether you are sleeping on your side, back, or stomach.

The mattress will not sink to the bottom if it has a foundation layer. It provides additional support for heavier sleepers.

    Purple

Its saving grace is the Purples Hyper elastic polymer layer. It’s a multi-functional material that can provide support, pressure relief and temperature control.

It is also highly adaptable because it can adjust to your particular sleeping position and body weight. It will feel great regardless of how you sleep or your physique.

These two layers of poly foam are primarily for support. These layers ensure that the mattress is not damaged in the middle, and can last many years without losing its excellent shape.

Overall, the Purple mattress is aMedium-firm feeling with a firmness rating between 6-7 and 10. Different people will experience different experiences due to the adaptive nature the top layer.

The mattress might feel slightly firmer if you are thin and slim, as there is not enough pressure to compress the grid walls.

Higher pressure can lead to more walls breaking down in order to accommodate heavier people. The mattress is a little softer.

    The Sleeping Experience

    Leesa

Leesa is a top-rated mattress. The mattress’s users rate it highly, stating that they are supportive, comfortable, and cool.

The top layer distributes your weight evenly throughout the mattress, while the second layer of memory foam is excellent at providing pressure relief. The most surprising thing about an all-foam mattress is how buoyant Leesa is.

Leesa suggested memory foam as a second layer for temperature control.

The mattress could get too hot at night if it was the top layer.

LSA200 foam has better temperature control than traditional memory foam. Leesa designed the foam with more air space, improving its heat dispersion.

Overall, I give Leesas a rating of 8/10 for its sleeping experience. It provides excellent support at all edges and stays cool throughout the night. This mattress is as comfortable as luxury mattresses which can cost thousands of dollars.

    Purple

As I said, Purples’ sleeping experience is different for each person. My partner prefers firm mattresses, while I prefer soft ones. We are both happy with the Purple mattress. It’s adaptability to different situations is its best feature.

It’s as if it knows what you like, what your body needs, and then responds accordingly. The Hyper-Elastic layer’s top polymer layer is strong enough to replace the lower-quality foam in the other layers.

Even on hot nights, the top layer’s grid-like structure keeps it cool. The circulating air quickly removes any heat that is released. Don’t worry if you find yourself sweating at night. The mattress will still be dry and fresh.

Purple also gets 8/10 for sleeping experience, just like Leesa. Each have their own issues but I found them both to be so impressive that it was hard to pick between them.

However, I’ll say this: If you have different sleeping preferences than your spouse, the Purple mattress is better. It adapts to everyone’s needs better than the Leesa.

However, purple is a good choice.Different coverage is available for mattress covers, which are covered by a 2-year warranty. They can repair or replace your mattress cover. However, you will have to pay transport costs.
