Timo Pritzel, despite other riders landing some amazing tricks, was the rider who got the most out each of the three runs. He jumped the highest and used the second jump to perform a flawless superman landing.

The event was canceled due to rain leading up the Sram Invitational Dirt Jump Competition. To ensure safety, precautions were taken in the morning and afternoon. The second landing was carpeted and the take-offs were traction enhanced by rolls of asphalt roofing material.

Jim DeChamp, Team GT rider, said that these guys were the best and knew how to handle adverse conditions. I hope it doesn’t get cancelled.

The race officials and riders agreed to the final competition.

Riders understood that even with the extra difficulty and risks they faced, they still had to do everything to win. John Jesme (Ellsworth – Atomlab), the previous winner, took a big fall after doing a backflip on his first jump. Cameron McCaul attempted a massive trick on his second jump.

The spectators saw some incredible jumping. Greg Watts landed backflip tailwhips and the winner, Pritzel, did a massive superman after a backflip. Timo was victorious because he did a great job on every run and his landings were perfect.
