NORTHSTAR OPENS THIS WEEKEND FOR BIKES

The Village Express and Vista Express chairlifts make it easy to access all of Northstars trails. Mountain bikers should have intermediate skills to use the Northstar mountain biking park. There are three levels of difficulty for the trails: 26 percent is the easiest, 43 percent is more difficult, and 23 percent are the most difficult. Eight percent are deemed ‘expert only’. All trails have some technical downhill or freestyle element, including log rides and rock drops, boulders, steep turns, and bermed turns. Northstars’ mountain bike park has been praised for its advanced nature, which is why it is known as the?downhill mountain riding Mecca? From 2004.

Northstar has one of the best parks in the country. said Kyle Crezee, Northstar mountain bike park manager. We are constantly building and maintaining new trails and features to enhance the wide range of terrain for intermediate to expert riders. ?

If you want to enjoy the resort’s freestyle trails with top-of the-line equipment, Kona or Santa Cruz downhill bikes can be rented at the Northstar bicycle shop. Santa Cruz and Kona mountain bikes can tackle the most challenging trails.

Northstar offers full-suspension Giant mountain bikes to rent for those who want to do cross-country training. You can also rent or buy protective gear from the bike shop. All Northstar riders must wear helmets.
